Two ways to study:
- In a small group, formed by similar age and language proficiency level;
- One-on-one classes with an assigned teacher to meet students specific language and schedule requirements.
Class time is based on the agreement between students and teacher of the group, trying to meet everyone's schedules.
Duration - 26 weeks (mid Septembet - mid May).
Online classes, via Zoom, PC and high speed internet is needed.
Fun language learning, using videos, audios, games, and projects. We also foster and preserve the Lithuanian ethnic identity, learn about Lithuanian traditional customs, state holidays.
Our teachers - experienced educators, creative professionals.
Curriculum is based on learning four language domains (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and sociocultural information about Lithuania. The school- wide curriculum is adapted to the specific group or individual needs. Special events, additional classes and contest is a part of the curriculum.
Learning material is chosen to fit the age and language proficiency level of the students.
At the end of the school year students receive a BLS student certificate. After graduating 10th grade, students receive BLS Graduation Diploma.
